About Us
Established in the 1940’s in the town of Littlehampton, West Sussex by William Tunmore, Tunmore Design and Build is a family run business now run by husband and wife, Terry and Debbie Tunmore. They have worked in the industry for over 40 years and a third generation is now part of the team.
Offering an extensive range of building services for domestic clients, we have many years experience working on properties from all periods and sizes. Our most recent projects have included a vast variety from renovations and extensions, to listed building works and new homes.
We can provide a full design service if required or will work from your own drawings and plans. Whatever the size of the project, we pride ourselves in a professional and efficient service, ensuring works run as smoothly as possible through to completion.

Materials
As technology evolves and demand increases for ever warmer homes by standard our projects include modern materials which offer fantastic properties which can aid a property's EPC. In bespoke situations there are opportunities to use materials which have less of environmental footprint.
Design
Builds sympathetic to the environment are increasingly popular. This can include aesthetics, though often looks to incorporate modern technologies such as renewable heating, power and conscious lighting designs.
Recycling
We monitor all waste from projects and handle it as responsibly as possible. All of our timber waste is recycled thanks to working with the Aldingbounre Trust, an enterprising local charity that supports adults with learning difficulties to live more independently.
